Extract the hidden MP4 from Samsung or Pixel Motion Photos
Samsung and Google Pixel Motion Photos often store a normal JPG still image plus a short MP4 video inside the same file. This converter looks for the embedded motion clip and exports it as a standard MP4 that you can share, edit, or archive.
This is different from Apple Live Photos. An Apple Live Photo usually travels as a .livp package or paired HEIC/MOV files, while many Android Motion Photos keep the video inside the JPG itself. For Apple's format, use Live Photo to MP4 instead.
Your Motion Photo is scanned in the browser. If a video segment is found, it is converted to MP4 locally with FFmpeg WebAssembly. Nothing is uploaded. This workflow is especially useful for Android users because Samsung and Pixel motion data can travel inside the original JPG. To shoot and edit new motion photos on Android, use LivePhoto Camera from Google Play. To understand the format difference, read iPhone Live Photos vs Google/Samsung Motion Photos.
